  • Installed and currently attempting to tune

Coldside installed into my 93 na, was quite straightforward although had a hickup with the placement of the 5th and 6th injector as I hadn't removed the bracket from the car... So all back off and got the grinder out 🤦.
In the process of tuning using a me442 with an iat sensor on the boost plenum and an egt sensor on each cylinder.. Egt are stable across the 4, but is there any indication of what temps are "normal" and what should be concerning... Intake tamps are showing over 100°c, but I'm not sure if that's relevant

Can't help with tuning the ME442 but if your tune is good, I see 1300-1400F EGTS at WOT @ 7000 RPM.

When you see 100C intake temps, is that at idle or cruise off boost with no spray, or is it WOT with spray?

Thanks Tom, we are seeing 1600f egt on wot and 200f plus at WOT... This reduces to 140f when coming off hard acceleration

Still a lot more tuning to do as adding the extra injectors in on an aftermarket ecu doesn't seem to be quite straightforward

Extra injectors need to supply more of the fuel and main injectors less.

          Thanks Tom
More dialed in now on a couple of revisions on the tune... Actually increasing the timing has brought the egt down a lot (we were cautious to begin with while getting the injectors setup properly).
Decided to go all in and add a water injection kit which arrives tomorrow, hoping that will make it a rock solid build and maybe justify going up a pully size or two 😏... Great bit of kit you've designed 😍

Time for a 150mm pulley and 350+ HP?

Maybe... Just maybe. Although not sure the stock engine and 5 speed would thank me 😳... Might just stay under 300 for a little while
