Your stock FPR (AFPR) is 20 years old and has been in the same position for that 20 years. It may or may not be functional for the near double fuel flow increase requirement.
We used the Aeromotive AFPR on the 1990 test car so we could have control and adjustability. Model 13301 for those of us into "Plain" and 13351 for those who desire "Bling".
Also, I highly recommend spending another $15-$25 and adding a pressure gauge to it so that it is easy to set/monitor. If you can't find the fittings locally, McMaster-Carr is a great source.
