CARB for all years

Tom, I have one of your Superchargers on my 1995 and love it! How does the CARB certification work regarding years? I am sure you did not have to give CARB a different car for every model year. Can I move this SC to any other year car and still be CARB legal? Jim

Hi Jim. CARB is good for 1990 to 2003. That kit will fit 1994-1995 directly and 1996-1997 with a different patch harness ($120). Other years need different intake manifold and other parts. Probably about $1000 in parts. But CARB is good on any of them from 90-03.

Hi Tom. It is good to know that we can make the switch in case another Miata comes along. What year car did CARB make you use for the test?

Testing was on a 2005 but they would only certify to 2003.
