I will avoid my propensity for hijacking threads and drop the wheel conversation. I have a load of questions on the subject but will open a different thread. Thanks

No problem with hijacking! I am aware of many opinions around running low ET...
My simple idea is wider track on the car and the tire shoulder is happier with some stretch.

That's a pretty nice spot for toolin' around in a top-down Miata! Love those wheels!

Beautiful pictures! Not only is the scenery otherworldly, but the Miata doesn't look bad either I especially like the interior, gauges and such. The choice of FI isn't bad either .

My 99 was the 10AE and it ran the Sport suspension so it was a bit lower than the average Miata. I ran 7.5" rims with 225/50-15 tires and had no fender clearance issues at all. With the 90, and 250+ at the wheels, I am thinking maybe I might need more than 225? If so, I was thinking 8" rims and 255? Currently they are 6.5" stock rims and 195 tires. Not sure I am going to be able to drive away from stop signs. Also, not familiar with the NA chassis for fender clearance? Also, it is my understanding that the 90-93 suspension had way less travel than the 94-05??
