  • A rose by any other name.....

Help. After 8 years and the abuse of the word Coldside by other vendors, we think it is time to name the kit. About time, huh? We would love the help and suggestions. There are really four kits at the moment:

    1. The standard kit that we sell 99% of the time that makes 190+WHP.
    2. The Low Cost kit that makes 160+ WHP.
    3. The DIY kit that comes without a blower, engine management, etc.
    4. The VIP (Very Intense Power) kit for those with built engines and E85, like me

    Thanks

    Here are my suggestions:

    1) Coldside, Coldside LC, Coldside DIY, Coldside E85
    2) Coldside, Coldside LC, Coldside DIY, Coldside FlexFuel
    3) FFS Coldside, FFS Coldside LC, FFS Coldside DIY, FFS Coldside E85
    4) FFS Coldside, FFS Coldside LC, FFS Coldside DIY, FFS Coldside FlexFuel
    5) Standard Kit, LowCost Kit, DIY Kit, E85 Kit
    6) Standard Kit, LowCost Kit, DIY Kit, FlexFuel Kit

Well, I never was very good at names...

For the moment, I like number 5 best. After the OTHER systems that called themselves coldsides and gave the name a bad reputation by not working, probably best to move away from that terminology.

        I'm thinking...

        1- FFS DIY
        2- FFS stage 1 (160whp)
        3- FFS stage 2 (190whp)
        4- FFS stage 3 (VIP/E85).

It's not very creative but, perhaps, it will work...

I like Mike's suggestions. FFS is part of the name of the kit and the "Stage X" very clearly indicates where you're at in the power hierarchy.

I'm not so sure I agree, well for the United Kingdom at least, Coldside is seen as something great over here but there is the other problem, it is seen as expensive that is why you have not been able to sell many in the UK.

                How about

                1- FFS CS DIY
                2- FFS CS stage 1 (160whp)
                3- FFS CS stage 2 (190whp)
                4- FFS CS stage 3 (VIP/E85).

Sometimes you have to pay more for a Rolls Royce.
